YouTube reveals 100 million subscriber Red Diamond Creator Award

Youtube has announced a special award for two of its most-followed channels, Pewdiepie and T Series for surpassing 100 Million followers.
The two most subscribed channels will be awarded a Red Diamond Creator Award. Previously, the highest award a YouTuber could earn was the Custom Play Button given to YouTubers who amassed 50 million subscribers.
PewDiePie himself was the first to reach that milestone on December 18, 2016.
Youtube tweeted on September 6 with the video “The 100M subscriber record has been surpassed, and that means we have the new creator award! Introducing: The Red Diamond Creator Award, named after one of the rarest colors of diamond,”

T-Series becomes the first channel to cross 100 Million subscribers on Youtube while Pewdiepie becomes the first Individual Youtuber to cross 100 million subscribers.

It was confirmed that both PewDiePie and T-Series would both be sent the Red Diamond Play button.
