We've got some incredible news about the Apple iPhone 13.

We've got plenty of news about the Apple iPhone 13 including its specs design and the cameras as well as a lot of new confirmations.

Apple iPhone 13 Camera

First up we've got news of camera upgrades for the Apple iPhone 13.

And of course, this is something that's always going to happen but we've got more confirmation on specific upgrades.

To start with it we're going to see an improvement to the ultra-wide camera on the iPhone 13.

Now, this report comes from Barclays Analysts as well as Ming-Chi Kuo.

So it is looking very likely and it states that the iPhone 13 is going to come with a new ultrawide camera.

And have a much larger aperture.

Now its predecessor had an aperture of f 2.4.

Whereas the new one is reportedly going to be an f 1.8.

A smaller f-stop number means a larger aperture which allows more light to hit the sensor.

Now, this results in better low-light performance, as well as better quality overall as the iso, can then stay lower.

We're still hearing news of a periscope camera as well but it's not really anything solid a pattern was discovered.

But given that it's only just been discovered.

It could well be for a future model and not the iPhone 13.

We also had the previous news of lidar scanners on all four models of the iPhone 13.

Now, this is still just a rumor and it does seem strange as it would lessen the difference between the standard models and the pros.

But then at the same time, Apple is putting focus into the arm.

If more phones have the lidar scanner then it would result in more development in this area.

As when it comes to an app moving forward with more users able to use it.

Then app developers can justify the time spent with the implementation.

iPhone 13 Smaller Notch

Next up we've got news of a smaller notch.

And of course, we've been hearing this for some time with many people saying it's going to be narrower and others saying it will be shorter.

John Prosser has stated that there are prototypes with a smaller notch and it is narrower but not all prototypes have them.

Now, this could mean that they're still undecided on whether or not it's going to make the final product of the iPhone 13.

Or it could even be that maybe the pro models have it and the budget models don't.

Of course, this is simply just estimations here and either way.

I'm not too fussy when it comes to the notch a narrower knot would have been nicer.

But if it's just going to be thinner then I'd rather it was left alone.

120Hz on iPhone 13

Now next up we put news of 120 hertz on the iPhone 13.

A feature that caused a lot of disagreements with the predecessor's leaks but it now seems to be a reality.

There are prototypes with 120 hertz as there was last time.

But it seems the deals have been done.

And finalized for all of the panels.

The 120 hertz iPhone 13 displays are going to be manufactured by Samsung.

And they will have LTPO backplanes which allow for a variable refresh rate and will help with battery consumption.

This will of course only be for the 13 pros and the 13 pro max.

iPhone 13 Touch ID

Next up we've got more confirmations of touch id coming to the iPhone 13.

Although the report was pretty vague.

Wall Street Journal has reported that two former Apple employees have advised that it will feature touch id as well as face id.

Other reports have suggested that it will be in the form of an in-display fingerprint scanner.

And not one that's simply added to the power button.

While many other manufacturers are using ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners.

The former Apple employees advise that they won't be using the ultrasonic scanner that's generally more secure than the optical.

But instead, they're coming up with their own optical scanner that can actually detect a fingerprint anywhere on the screen.

Now of course this sounds great but I'm personally just a little bit skeptical at the moment.

And wondering if the patent discovered for this technology was again just for a future model may not be for the iPhone 13.

Of course, as soon as there's an update on this I'll be updating you guys straight away.

But the Apple iPhone 13 is really looking to be a huge improvement on the predecessor.

It's pretty much the specs that I personally wanted to see on last year's iPhones.
